IRCAM opens its doors and explains its activities: workshops, conferences, software presentations, and meetings with the artists, researchers and musical assistants. Throughout these two open house days, concert-workshops will present a musical problem, with an electronic piece and its instrumental alter ego: work in space with Marco Stroppa and Olga Neuwirth, instrumental gesture capture and virtuosity (creation by Philippe Hurel), the limits of virtuosity (Iannis Xenakis and Brian Ferneyhough).
On-site presentations by the research groups of projects and research currently being carried out.
